Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or any MCP-compatible agent to Parl8, and your assistant can answer from what actually happened in the European Parliament — every speech, every roll-call vote, every legislative file, every registered lobbying meeting of the current term. Fully cited, updated within hours of each plenary.

Run this in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http parl8 https://mcp.parl8.eu/mcpAdd this to Cursor's mcp.json, then click Connect and sign in. Other MCP clients can drop the auth block, or send an API key as an Authorization: Bearer header instead:

A call is one tool invocation or one parliament data read. Listing tools, prompts and static widget templates does not count. Daily and monthly caps reset at UTC midnight / month start. Hitting a cap returns HTTP 429 so your assistant can tell you to wait or upgrade.
Parl8 MCP is read-only and covers the 2024– parliamentary term. Plenary speeches are machine-translated from the European Parliament's original recordings and may contain errors. Data refreshes within hours of each plenary sitting. Raw records remain freely available from the European Parliament — Parl8 adds the unified, AI-ready intelligence layer on top.
Parl8 is an independent service by DemAI ApS. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Parliament, and it presents the public record without taking political positions.
Interactive where your assistant supports it — vote results, legislative timelines and MEP cards render as live Parl8 cards inside the chat (MCP Apps–capable hosts), with one click through to the full picture on parl8.eu.
